camping wedding under the trees// Arthur & Danielle
Not sure you want to spend your money on a fancy venue? These two didn’t want to. They reserved a campground big enough for their entire camping wedding party and tied the knot on the banks of a mountain creek. The advantages are clear if you value nature and enjoy the smoke of campfire. The challenges may be less clear. Trying to cook a dinner, get dressed in formal wear, and do your hair in a tent. These two found solutions to the problems and pulled off a wedding in exactly the way they wanted.
A Modern Cultural Fusion
Their wedding was a fun mixture of Danielle’s Italian heritage and Arthur’s religious and philosophical background. They both departed from their respective family names and took on a new one; they are very modernly known as Dr. and Mr.
The wedding was largely a family affair with the decorations, cake, food, and set up all done by the community of their family and friends.
The charming and endearing officiant for this Cascade camp-out wedding was pastor John McLarty, senior pastor at the Greenlake Seventh-day Adventist church.
I, Tyler Ray, was honored to be their photographer.
