Gavin & Katya at Hotel Max Artist Loft and Leschi Park
Gavin & Katya will be remembered in my heart by sunset photo session where we left the Hotel Max Artist Loft and walked through downtown, on their wedding day, to photograph on top of the Roosevelt Hotel. These two valued photography and made the time to do something great and I love them for it.
Seattle at sunset, especially at the 20th floor in downtown on a summer’s eve. This was made possible by the staff of Hotel Max who were extremely accommodating and friendly.
But this isn’t where the day started. Getting ready in Hotel Max began in the morning, getting ready of course.
Not wanting to go too far from the beautiful hotel, we arrange the first look to be in the reception location which is the Artist’s Loft in Hotel Max. Katya would ride the spectacular car elevator up to Gavin, waiting.
It’s not often that I post family and wedding party formals. However, I do photograph them and I take pride in my family and wedding party formals. I just don’t post many because they are fairly private by nature and often not the most interesting of photos. However, I need to show a couple from this wedding because, well, damn. We photographed these at Leschi Park, where the ceremony was held.
The ceremony was held off site from Hotel Max Artist Loft at Leschi Park.
Oh yeah, then there was a party bus and budlight galore on the way back. Keeping it classy, I love it. These two did what they wanted, period.
Once we arrived back at Hotel Max Artist Loft, the party began with a bang. The dancing started immediately and then had to be reigned in for dinner and toasts.
And that was it, a marriage between two fun loving people and a party of a life time to celebrate.
