traveling south korea
Seoul, Busan, and Provincial Korea // South Korea
Traveling South Korea is as easier than traveling in Central America or Southeast Asia. With a friend and first world population that largely speak at least some English and a government that has kindly put English road signs everywhere, it is not hard to get around.
All in all I’ve spent about 2 years traveling South Korea and living there. It was a second home to me in my early 20’s while I was an English teacher there. Little did I know at the time that my experiences in Asia and these photographs would jump start a career in photography and help me connect to many similarly seasoned clients who have taught English and traveled South Korea, or simply love to travel.
A woman reflectively peers at a sign announcing a land mine area near the DMZ reminding all visitors that South Korea is still at war with North Korea and the threat of military invasion is always present.
